Describe the problem you have found and a link to the page with a problem:
I am new to Drupal, but I have been involved with computers and programing for 44 years and designed and implement many web sites for my customers. The Drupal site needs work. Since I am new to Drupal and installed the latest update to Version 7, why would i want to read all of the problems and issues related to versions earlier than a Version I am interested in? It is very difficult to search this site without getting a lot of garbage. I am not interested in a problem someone had in going from Version 5 to Version 6. In my opinion, I should only get items relating to Version 7 if i put Version 7 in my search string.

I believe you would find more participation if potential users could find the pertinent information they want from a Web Site search. I say this as one who is going to some other CMS format as I am unable to take a customer's Version 6 Zen format to work in the current Version of Drupal.

Status: Needs work » Closed (outdated)

The current filtre-search functionality does the job well.
I am not sure if that was the case 2-3 years ago. But this surely seems like an outdated issue which must have fixed/improved.
I propose the status to be closed(outdated) for this issue.
