I think that node titles should be contained in quotes when messages are displayed to the user.
It can be a little confusing to see that the drupal message is referring to a specific piece of content.
For example:
Article Some amazing article has been created.
Article Some amazing article - updated has been updated.
I'm proposing this format:
Article "Some amazing article" has been created.
Article "Some amazing article - updated" has been updated.

xjm(Merging "node system" and "node.module" components for 8.x; disregard.)

dman CreditAttribution: dman commentedI agree in spirit, as I often write notification (or watchdog) messages like that ... and then when debugging get confused about what I'm being told and go back and add quotes like that where needed - especially when it turns out that something didn't load and I'm trying to make a change on a node called "" !
I'd support this suggestion as a general UX/DX guideline, though it's pretty low priority as things go.
