The following is IMHO...

There are many sources of information on this topic. In brief, any source of emails using a 'from' address that is a no-reply address is automatically suspected by ISPs of being a sender of spam emails. Second, many pieces of legislation (such as CANSPAM, I believe) require that the recipient has two (2) means to opt out of receiving future email, one of which is to reply directly to the email they have received from the sender in question.

Just because something can be implemented does not mean it should be.
