Is it possible to have the derivatives saved in the same path as the original file, instead of being saved in sites/default/files?

slashrsm CreditAttribution: slashrsm commentedSave location is up to engines. Each engine can decide where to save derivatives it creates. It can also expose this as a configuration, of course.
