Hi.
After I've made some minor changes and recompiled the sass files (I'm doing "compass watch" in the sub theme folder) the dropdown top menu's were gone.
Here's a link to where this happens: http://drupal7.devgrids.com/
I have the zurb-foundation gem installed.

<ul class="dropdown">
is being hidden, but I can't immediately figure why this is happening. Without knowing what sort of changes you made it's difficult to determine if those changes caused the problem. But I don't think it's anything you changed as I have run into this issue myself recently.This issue is actually related to a Foundation/Zoundation version mismatch. I have found issues with hidden/shown items with my Zoundation themes (moreso with Sections and Tabs being improperly hidden). My issues are caused by the fact that the current Zoundation theme is using Foundation v4.1.3 scripts and SASS, but my system Gem was v4.3.2. I had to use the older 4.1.3 version of the Foundation Gem to make Zoundation behave properly.
The solution I have used is to add a Gemfile specifying Foundation v4.1.3 and running "bundle exec compass watch" to ensure the proper version is compiled. This is further explained in the Foundation docs page - scroll down to the "Running multiple versions" section:
http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/sass.html
Note: I didn't have to perform "
bundle exec compass create . -r zurb-foundation --using foundation
". I only created the Gemfile with Foundation v4.1.3, did acompass clean
, thenbundle exec compass watch
, and all worked properly.I've changed the title, and changed the status to "normal" for now, we'll let the maintainer update this to a higher priority if they deem appropriate. The theme works fine with the appropriate Gem version, but many people will have the latest Foundation Gem installed, and as soon as they modify any SASS, those old v4.1.3 .css files that are included with Zoundation will be overwritten with incompatible .css from the latest Gem v4.3.2.
The maintainer can update us on where to go from here moving forward. For now you can try the Gemfile fix, or perhaps the latest -dev snapshot could include the appropriate Gemfile with the appropriate Foundation version specified?
