Noticed that this issue
https://drupal.org/node/851680
is relevant to this module as well. It appears tracking pixels and cookies are loaded en-mass via Javascript chaining through Add____ service javascripts.

This can be seen when checking a site with PingDom http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/ then clicking on the "Performance Grade" tab and then "recommendation" expand buttons (round up arrows) on the right. Some of the domains are flagged as not necessarily beneficial, or may have privacy issues. This can probably also be seen with NoScript for Firefox or Ghostery.

This appears to be true even when not using Add___ services, the JS is added regardless.

This also can make a site take a performance hit.

Upon loading the page with this module enabled (actually, only having the facebook site icon enabled) I noticed files being loaded from addthis.com, twimg.com and twitter.com. Furthermore cookies are set for the domains addthis.com and scorecardresearch.com.

The least the maintainer of this module, Tom, could do is mention these possible privacy infringements as, at least in the EU, we're obliged to inform visitors of our sites of any tracking cookie and any possible privacy infringement.
