Linking to Entity will not work.

I have encountered this issue multiple times across my site with this module and it has become extremely frustrating. I am working with the version of this module that comes with the latest version of Commerce Kickstart 2.0.

I have created an entity reference field that links back to a product for my blog posts. However, when logged in as an administrator, it will link to me the edit page, and for any other type of user viewing the page, it will just show up as blank text. I have attached the files below to further describe my situation.
