hello drupals,
im nnew to this CMS - but realyl enjoy it sofar.
Soo the 1 problem is currently that im somehow incapable to install a EDITOR.

I tried diffrent versions (fckeditor and niceditor and xstandard) But i dont get them to work ...

Nicedit shows at least up and function when creating content, but once i preview or submit an article it is just not formated.

How can i make it work, or does someone know a working editor for 6.2?

I just want ANY editor.

One of the issues I've had in the past is forgetting to set the proper filters for the content.
If this is the case, even though the editor is inputting code, it isn't being displayed b/c filters it out as being potentially harmful.
You might want to set the full html filter or modify the default filter to include the elements typically inserted by the editor...

Read the entire install.txt file. It explains how to configure the editor to work properly with drupal.

input formats can be changed on a per node basis by expanding the input formats menu under the text area before node submission.

you can also alter the filters of each input format in administer -> input formats.
