Parent view's administration broken if adding a child view using 'views accordion' format

I tried this
1. Created a parent view (page display & grid format).
2. Created a child view (block display & views accordion format), added contextual filter content:nid as well.
3. Added 'global:views field view' field to the parent view, set the child view, added [!nid] as contextual filter.

Doing that, it seems that it's no longer possible to admin the parent view, links stop working, things behaving weird etc.
If I then go to the child views and change its format from 'views accordion' to other,thereafter is possible to admin the parent view again.
