Get panel informations into the view object

Is it possible to get panel information like pid, did, region, position into the view object of a displayed view_content display from the panel?

I have tried to set an own variable in the hook_preprocess_panels_pane() in my theme but this variable isn't accessible in hook_preprocess_views_view(). The problem is I have a contextual link in the view which should also pass information where this view_content is placed in a panel.

Or is it possible to pass these information as contextual parameter?

Perhaps somebody have done this or have an idea to solve this problem.
