Changing Views Format Setting Does not change display

I have a couple of Views. These views are set up to create pages which form most of the main menu.

I had the format setting of Content->Teaser and now changed that to Fields and added the fields I wanted but all I get is the same teaser display and not the fields of the node as desired.

What can I do to fix this?
