Handbook: "Updating translations for Drupal 6"
The handbook page Updating translations for Drupal 6 should have the information you're looking for.
I haven't tried it myself yet (I'm planning to do it for Norwegian Nynorsk when I have time, if someone else doesn't do it first :-) so if that isn't enough, someone else will have to help you out.
ya i hav studied the page
ya i hav studied the page but it refers to the merging files and then it says itself that merginge files is not practicle here as the file names for drupal 6 are different from drual 5
so my quetsion remains teh same that wat shud i do :(
thnx anyway
Perhaps the README-file?
Hm, thinking about it: I saw a discussion about filenames in the Translation mailing list recently (here's the archive, and how to join the list). Have you looked at the README-file that comes with the Drupal 6 translation files? There's supposed to be more information there.
