Since D8 isn't but a few months out now, and since I use this module more times than I take steps in a day, I'm gonna start converting it to be compatible with the new module system.

Just making this issue here as an FYI.

Priority: Normal » Major

Changed priority to major since it's a full version upgrade.

Visit the sandbox for the new version to test on your Drupal-8.x-dev setup. Utilize the most recent version of D8 through the git repository for best results.

Please give any and all feedback you can possibly come up with. I'm still tidying up the code a bit but my testing produces expected results for me. I need more points of view to be sure.

Hi Deryck,

I'm going to put some time aside this week to review this properly and give you feedback. Just trying to release another open source project at the moment hence the delay.

Thanks again for your efforts on this,

Guy

Sounds like a plan. Just made even more enhancements and fixed some stuff that wasn't working in 7.x-2.11. Let me know if you want that code to update the 7.x series too.

Also plugged a potential security hole that you might want to check out in the 7.x's. I'll post a new issue for it.

Apologies for delaying this so long - finally got this other project to completion. Will get back to this before the end of the month with some luck!

Reopening this as a tracking issue to track the issues on the Drupal 8 conversion.

One thing - I would advise writing to the 8.x-1.x branch instead of 8.x-2.x. Best to start version numbers from the beginning.

Feel free to keep committing to the branch, then keep a note of the changes as you go in the commit logs as well as in this issue.

Then as we move towards a first release I can review before posting it out.

Thanks again.
