when using bbcode or media module these tags are not stripped from description.

P.S. Sidenote: when making patch, please start with the module directory, not docroot of your drupal installation. I.e. patch should contain

--- a/metatags_quick_extra.module
+++ b/metatags_quick_extra.module

but not

--- a/sites/all/modules/contrib/metatags_quick/metatags_quick_extra.module
+++ b/sites/all/modules/contrib/metatags_quick/metatags_quick_extra.module
