A lot of stuff happend recently in this module and it's time, like discussed in #1785270: Create new release, to think about a major stable release. Before this happens, there are some issues I'd like to get done.
This aims to be documentation page to have a overview what needs to be done till we release. Feedback is welcome!

Title: Roadmap for 2.0 Release » Roadmap for new Release (2.0-alpha3)
Status: Active » Fixed

Alpha 3 has been released! All Issues that have been postponed will be addressed in the new 3.x branch with brand new features.

Alpha3 will have bugfixes only, any further development is going to 3.x. It is highly recommended to update existing alpha2 and dev versions to alpha3, since there have been a lot of issues with library compatibility.
Don't forget to update your library if it's outdated and to run update.txt, there have been some modifications on variables that will be migrated.
