Textimage 7.x-3.x [#2075743]

I am co-maintaining Textimage.

I just wanted to let maintainers of Imagecache Actions that a new Textimage version 7.x-3.x now is out, in alpha state.

It is a major rewrite, mainly directed at leveraging the core image system by introducing image effects in place of the previous 'presets'.

Textimage 3 is dependent on Imagecache Actions and Imagecache Canvas Actions for some canvas management routines, hence I just wanted to let you know.

I am getting below issues in this version.

1. Transparent background is not working. It is always putting a white background.
2. token replacement is not working.

@mondrake: Good to hear from you. Let's join forces, at least for D8 and place all our effects in 1 module, thereby replacing/merging (I don't know if there's any feature that we offer that is not in your module) our simple text effect with yours. As I already suggested in #2228361: Drupal 8 port, I want to rename the D8 version of the module to image_effects to better reflect current naming (we can't expect people to keep remembering how this all started in D6 contrib to understand our project name and thus be able to find it).

@Ajithlal: is this directed at the Textimage module or at our text effect? In both cases you should create a separate issue for this and do so in the correct issue queue.
