i hav translated drupal 5.x in urdu , i hav used the translation templates and used poedit to translate it , now i hav all translated po files , but when i import them to drupal some of them are not shown in urdu and it is also shown that only 80% strings are translated. i hav chekd my po files they seem to b alrite , i hav already worked on the prural porb and now all my po files are error free , but i dnt knw then y in some places translated strings are not shown .
plz help me ... its urgent plzzzzzz help

Do you have any contributed modules installed, and have you translated the po-files for them?

Also, a few of the English strings can't be translated with po-files. For instance, under "Content types", you might find "Page" and "Story", with English descriptions. To translate these, you need to edit those content types.

no i dont hav any contributed modules intstalled, i simply installed poedit , then took templates from drupal site and translated them and got the po files
how shud i change there content type can u explain a lttl ,thnx in advance

In the navigation menu, choose administer > content types > story (I don't know what that is in Urdu, the URL to that page would be www.example.com/?q=admin/content/types/story) and administer > content types > page (www.example.com/?q=admin/content/types/page) and change the names and descriptions there.

Because of the "80% translated" message, I think there might be other problems as well. The handbook page Some strings do not translate might be helpful.

is it administer>content type >story OR is that administer>settings>content type>story?

hey i hav changed the content types but the problem is that when i type the name in of page or story in machine readable field in urdu it gives error that machine readable name shud be in lower case and only can hav underscore , so wat shud i do shud i leev it in english wothout changing coz there are no cases in urdu
