TwoDWhich version of CKEditor are you using?
All versions I know of have at least two parts in their version numbers. We had an issue like this with CKEditor 4 before the regular expression was modified in 7.x-2.x-dev. Have you tried that version? See #1853550: Ckeditor 4.0 - The version of CKEditor could not be detected. for that story.

chaunceyt CreditAttribution: chaunceyt commentedI'm using Ckeditor 4.2. Also I'm unable to use the 7.x-2.x-dev due to client requirements.
Thanks

TwoDOk, but we don't support CKEditor 4 in Wysiwyg 7.x-2.2 so I can't recommend proceeding without 7.x-2.x-dev (which will become 7.x-2.3 anyway), and since a fix was already applied in #1853550, I hope you don't mind me closing this issue.
