i will suggest you to go with Drupal 5.5 + Ubercart for you systems

i'll suggest you not to use zen cart with the drupal use uber cart which is already implemented for drupal 5.5 and working nicely

In my humble opinion, go for Drupal 5.5 + Ubercart.

I just moved our small e-commerce site from Zencart 1.3.7 to Drupal which is a much more powerful as a CMS (but a little bit less as a e-commerce suite, but Ubercart has a huge potential and has a very active community)

A little weakness of Drupal is that you have to add modules, because the first install is a little basic in terms of functionalities (but Forum, Blog are already included). However Drupal is by far the best PHP CMS that I know (and I have tested a lot of them, and J2EE also)

Some modules that are very useful :

tinymce-5.x-1.9.tar
google_analytics-5.x-1.3.tar
ubercart-5.x-1.0-alpha8.tar
imce-5.x-1.0.tar
nodewords-5.x-1.5.tar
fivestars.tar
forward.tar

Thanks a lot for your helpful information.

I work as a J2EE devoper in a company, but for individual site, I'd like some lightweight framework.
and currently I mainly focus on Joomla(and Virtuemart) and Drupal.

any other recommened modules for Drupal?

I will try Drupal first and any progress will let you guys know :-)

Can ubercart adapter to B2C ecommence?

the site owner can manager products, and there are also some store owner which may provide their own product,
that means, some products are managed by site owner, and some are managed by store owner(that means there are also some stores in the site.)
So the requirement is:
1. need to group some products by store(which means user can search them only in the store, instead of whole site.)
2. if purchased in the store, then the order can be submit to store owner.
