I have installed the distribution ManagingNews and importing and aggregating feeds works fine, but republishing the feeds at the url mysite/rss/all/rss.xml produses a sceleton-xml with empty items like this:

Installing ManagingNews on a local MAMP installation produces correct xml-feeds at localhost/rss/all/rss.xml.

Any ideas are welcome

You are probably using the original, old copy of MN distro and not that one with updated modules which comes with Octopus? It could be the updated contrib which breaks things, a bit.

Since ManagingNews is an abandoned distro with several security upgrades required we have applied to keep the distro usable at least partly, some features may got broken in the process.

I'm afraid we are going to deprecate this abandoned distro, sooner than later.
