How do you format the menu block? I figured out how to change the logo, but I need to make the menu block taller and possibly reduce the internal padding. I just started using Drupal so I might be missing something simple. Been trying for about 3 hours now. I thought you were supposed to be able to click and drag to adjust the layout? How do you get to that?

Hi there, you are probably going to want to hover over the block and select 'Edit skin'. That gives you a lot of options for customizing the block (see screenshot). Have you tried using that option yet?

Oh ok you mean the main menu. You could use edit skin but that's not going to give you a lot of options since that is usually more for square-ish sidebar blocks.

If you are not comfortable with sub-theming the next best thing is to use this module:
https://drupal.org/project/css_injector

Which let's you add some CSS to the site without creating a new theme. You need to know some CSS but it lets you modify the theme however you want from the UI. I highly recommend!
