It will show the first time it's loaded, but after it's cached, there is no slideshow.

template_preprocess_bxslider_views_slideshow_main_frame() isn't executed if the View is cached.

Strange my views @ http://mschudders.equality-sports.com/bx-slider-carrousel?from_drupal=true are also cached but they still show up.

Do you have default caching of any additional caching modules/layers ?

My mistake - you're right. I had a patch applied to Views that seemed to be the problem.
