I am attaching RIS exported from Tylor and Francis, http://www.tandfonline.com/, on Import, I get a notification saying "e following elements were ignored because they do not map to any biblio fields: DO, M3, Y2. Click here if you wish to check the field mapping".
On http://mysite.org/#overlay=admin/config/content/biblio/iomap/edit/ris I do not have DO and Y2 as RIS Field Identifiers, and consequently, cannot import the data, DOI is important to have.

HughP-1 CreditAttribution: HughP-1 commentedI ran into this too, but I am not sure if it is that there is no place to put the DOI or if it is that there the .ris interpreter/parser does not recognized the DO fields...

jurveen CreditAttribution: jurveen commentedI ran into this issue recently with the DO field. I'm using 7.x-1.0-rc7, and DO is not a data field in mysite.org/admin/config/content/biblio/iomap/edit/ris

jurveen CreditAttribution: jurveen commentedIt's possible to edit the mapping in biblio/modules/RIS/biblio_ris.install,
in the function _get_ris_field_map() add:
'DO' => 'biblio_doi', //- DOI
I've put this below the 'UR' tag.
However, the new mapping only works when you install or update Biblio. Otherwise you have to modify the database: table biblio_type_maps, field field_map. Write an update function or modify by hand (quick & dirty).

emerham CreditAttribution: emerham as a volunteer commentedThe patch in #2845457: Add DOI, A4 to RIS file format mapping adds the DOI to the install file, but like what @jurveen said a db update needs to be created to add them to existing sites.
