I've manually added the existing source-field to admin/structure/facebook-publications/manage/event/fields, but with no success.
After some minutes of research, i found out, that photo and event are using some seperate classes.
So I added the function to append a eventphoto to the eventclasses.

did you get it working? Would you explain what you did more then patch the files.
