I would really like the ability to choose a view mode that is displayed in the megarow content rather then being limited to default. More importantly, I would like to be able to display the contents of unpublished nodes as well.

ArtusamakHi, thanks for the suggestion but this is not in the scope of Views megarow for now, you can achieve such thing by implementing your own views megarow handler in charge of exposing the view mode with which you want to render the node.

I can't imagine it being but so useful without that unless you're dealing with nodes that don't have much content on them. Since I don't believe I'm up to coding a handler every time, I'll mark this module as "limited". Thanks!

ArtusamakYou could for instance create a new menu entry generating your node in the view mode you want and just having the handler as a wrapper, i think that it would to the job.

Whatever you display in the views table with megarow it is very certain you dont want to display the same on node page. Would be nice that you make an example "views megarow handler" that you suggest.

deanflory CreditAttribution: deanflory commentedAgree that an example with instructions would be helpful/necessary in my case. I still think this issue should be "Needs Work" and not "Closed (fixed)", if not "won't fix" would be more applicable.
