Perhaps, drupal could replace symfony with phalcon for d9 :) A CMS for this framework is already happening http://phalconeye.com/

I was wondering if anyone says "Hey Drupal developers, use Python!" but instead you said "Use Phalcon!".

Speed is not everything. Drupal is common CMS so should be installed on every hosting easily. Did you use Phalcon? Because you cannot use it without Phalcon extension for PHP. So if you want to build sites with Phalcon on shared hosting, they must install this extension.
