Sorry, I cannot review this version, because I have good experience only with search_api. But search_api for 6.x is not exists. Please ask other contributors of this module, who have good experience with other search modules. For example Nick_vh is experienced contributor of apachesolr and he also works on date_facets.
Also I found files "._.DS_Store" in your archive. Seems they was added by your Mac OS and they should be removed.
