I'm very new here.

I am learning to use the Media module. I created a "test_image" content type for experimenting with the Media module. I added a field of type "image" and selected the "media selector" as the widget.

When I click on the "select media" button, an overlay window pops up. It contains a navigation menu block. It also contains a grid-like media browser. There are three tabs: "upload", "web", and "library". Under both the "upload" and "web" tabs, "submit" and "cancel" buttons are shown. Under the "library" tab the "submit" and "cancel" buttons are both missing. I have no way to select an image from the "libray". I scrolled down to the end of my image files, and the "submit" and "cancel" buttons still do not show. There is no way to close the pop up overlay either. The only way to get rid of it is to reload the page.

If I click on the navigation buttons in the menu within the pop up, then I navigate to the page for the corresponding menu item. Basically, this is navigating on my website within a pop up window. Weird.

This behavior shows up in Firefox, IE8, Safari, and Chrome.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just found this issue, from a quick cursory look the modal window has overflow: hidden and is cutting off the rest of the form which has the "Submit"/"Cancel" buttons.

I tweaked the module CSS to the following, would make a proper patch if I was more confident this is the right way to approach the issue:

body.page-media-browser {
  background: none;
  overflow: auto;
  overflow-x: hidden;
  overflow-y: auto;
