Apparently, when choosing this option a new path is written and the image won't display. When reverting back to the option "flexslider full" the image will be displayed.

OostieI've made a patch for this issue, when you didn't select an imagecache preset theme function of flexslider was trying to trying to create an image through theme_image_style without a preset.

minorOffense CreditAttribution: minorOffense commentedI've removed the use of the image styles in the option sets. Now those are handled by views and fields respectively.
This issue no longer applies.
