It would be useful to provide a setting similar to the "how soon can a booking start" that would allow the admin to limit bookings being made far into the future. For example, we have a client would like to limit booking to no more than 4 years out.
This feature could be configured to allow the admin to provide two values, one for duration type (day, month, year) and the other for the positive # of that type.

Currently the only way to achieve something similar to the fixed date option is to set the default availability setting for each room to unavailable, then use bulk availability management to make rooms available up to a particular date in the future. This however has the disadvantage that if a booking for a room is altered (cancelled or re-assigned to another room by admin), then the room state is returned to unavailable, even though it was available prior to the cancelled booking being made. see related issue #1974412: Split default availability states

dorys CreditAttribution: dorys commentedI found this thread from 2 yrs ago. My client wants to limit bookings to 12 months. Has there been any movement on this?
