Most of the code in the .module file is used only on the modules page. It could be split into a separate file and loaded only when needed. The difference would be trivial in this case but some of my sites have dozens of modules doing the same thing so I am suggestion the same type of change to each module.

I'm keeping an eye on the 7.x branch of this module, reviews and majors, but active work is going toward 4.x (supporting D10)
