Rate Widget not Appearing in Table View

Hello. I'm attempting to display the rate widget in a Table View but the widget is not appearing. The widget is properly appearing in all other View formats. I searched previous bug reports and found this bug report on displaying the widget in a table view, which was closed due to it being a duplicate of this bug report on displaying the widget in comments. I attempted the workaround in the latter and it did not fix the problem for me, and judging by the discussion in the latter it seems that it may be a different issue. Any ideas on the cause and any workarounds?
