Good to know! How outdated? Is it code from Drupal 6, or Drupal 7, and might it be still compatible with Simpletest, or does it need a rewrite both for Simpletest as Quiz?

I'm not sure but as far as I remember it is from d6 and could be relatively compatible with simpletest.

I'm not sure if the tag 'works as designed' and feature request is the best tag as this functionality and code is in the module and available in the UI, but broken at the moment. We could remove it, repair it or disable this code.

I'm in favor of repairing as it is great to have unit testing available for releases and could try to work on a patch. I checked and it need some updates, but no radical changes.
