There still seems to be trouble with the Main Menu. This appears to be a recurring issue from other releases as well. I was unable to control what showed up using enable checkboxes on the Structure > Menus > Main Menu page - until I turned off this: Structure > Features > Open Public Menu. Then I was able to show only the items I had checked on. But when I manually added a menu item, or tried to add it via Views, it will not show up.

I have not installed anything else beyond the installation profile. I have only disabled the Open Public Menu.

I have the same problem. Added new main-menu items are not showed till I disable or enable OpenPublic Menu in features. Enabling or disabling OpenPublic Menu recreates the menu correctly showing the Main Menu with the enabled items in the correct order.
The recreate button does not work.
Item menus should appear automatically when you add new items to the menu or you create a node and select the option add a menu link.

Modifying region--menu.tpl perhaps could help you overriding default menu and viewing your changes in menu.

I am, too, having trouble with the main/splash page top menu. It is not displaying my full main menu, some menu items will display only one sub-item, others will display all of the sub-items and then it is also displaying items from the main menu that I have disabled-for example, the blog.

I have the OpenPublic Distribution with the OpenOmega theme enabled as default.

How is that main/splash page menu controlled? Where are the core files for it in the OpenPublic distribution? I can't seem to find the controlling files neither in the OpenPublic files nor the OpenOmega files. For me, disabling the OpenPublic Menu did not resolve the issue totally. Also, I am not able to disable the default OpenPublic, which was another suggestion I have read.

My sandbox site is sandbox.cityofwestliberty.org You can see what OpenOmega is displaying on the top page and then I put the main menu in the left sidebar so you can see what the main menu ought to have.

Please retest with latest modules.

I believe that the menu used to be cached via a cache that was not cleared often, but that caching was removed.

I am no longer using OpenPublic so I will be unable to test this. Would someone else like to so hefox can get feedback? Otherwise we can close the ticket...
