Having Commerce UUID in place opens the door to possible use with http://drupal.org/project/uuid_features (which is in fact what I was hoping it would just do). Is there any way we can expose the entities that are configured to have UUID to UUID Features Integration, so that they show up in the Features interface?

I know the original intent of this module was to allow support via the Deploy module, and I know deployment plans are exportable to features, but my use case isn't for deploying to another site- just basically bringing a few Products in automatically in a Feature. I'm also not seeing how exporting a deployment plan would ultimately get the content itself into code, and as I'm not actually deploying to another site, it would basically need to "deploy" to itself? This seems like a lot of work to get a few products added automatically with my Feature...

I'm using Features & not planning on using Deploy.

For non-enterprise who need to move things from one install to another (not often) this would be a welcomed feature.

I've added the support to uuid features directly, however I wouldn't be unhappy if we could move the integration into this module :) (Especially the integration depends on this module)
The major part should just be a copy and past action.
I set this to fixed even thought moving the code would be nice.

Hey, thanks for your patch, Peter.
I updated uuid_features to dev to use it. Now I can check my Commerce Product Bundles in UUID Export Settings, but product entities still don't show up when I try to create a new feature - any ideas?

To further clarify my problem I marked up 3 screenshots.
1. /admin/structure/features/uuid_features
2. /admin/structure/features/settings
3. /admin/structure/features/create

I enabled my desired products types to be exportable and I made sure I have three products of type "Lizenzierte Rolle / licensed_role" and each has got a UUID.

Did I miss anything?

This issue has been closed for about a year now. I suggest creating a new issue for your problem referencing this one to ensure it is seen and tracked appropriately. (I only saw it because I happened to still be following this issue and check my dashboard occasionally)

I am having the same problem as Daniel, nothing shows up. Seem this feature integration doesnt work anymore. No need for new issue.
