The cancel button which appears on the cropping tool does not work properly. When open cropping tool for the first time there is a default selection for the image and when click cancel (or ESC) this default selection is not clearing and it indicates that you cropped the image. With other words the cancel button works like save button.

boychev CreditAttribution: boychev commentedI've found a temporary solution. Changing the default selection fixes the issue. But now we don't have default selection when cropping a file for the very first time.

Thanks for your bug report, I think the best solution would be to set a boolean to indicate that the current selection was set as a default so we can remove it when the user presses cancel. I'll have a look at this!
As a temporary fix you can also click the remove selection before closing or disable the default crop area option.
