Sale Price not reflected within Cart/Creates Coupon compatibility issue?

I'm trying to zero in on what's happening here. I have a store using this module, alongside Commerce Coupon Percentage and other supporting modules. When people check out, however, they are unable to properly apply coupons to products which have a sale price associated with them. Not certain what's going on, but attached is a screen where the issue is glaringly apparent...
