I installed Calendar 5.x-1.7 on my site (http://chinastockport.com), but the current date seems to be off. I also tried the latest dev version. It also shows the wrong date. It's always several hours faster (I believe less than one day) than my local (or my host server) time. For example, right now it's Nov. 24, 2007, US Eastern time, and the calendar shows Nov. 25, 2007. Under "Date and time", I change the time zone to be -0500 (my local time) and disable "Configurable time zones". I also tried to set it to my host server time -0700, but no success so far.
Thanks very much!

I have encountered a similar problem with my Calendar 5.x-1.7 running on a small society website. (http://www.awo-norf-rosellen.de/?q=event )

The Problem is, that Calendar shows the wrong current date for unauthenticated users. If i log in the Calendar shows the correct date.
Also if i change something in the "Date & Time" Settings the current date is updated for unauthenticated users too.

I too am experiencing this. I'm running Event and Calendar modules side by side for testing. Calendar displays the wrong date, Event 1.x does as well, while Event 2.x works fine. The offset seems to be ahead by the GMT offset. So for example, if it's 17:00 here, with GMT-8(PST) "today" is already the next day on the calendar. The calendar seems to add however many hours is subtracted from GMT to the current time.

Here is a similar issue with Event: http://drupal.org/node/65210#comment-410302

Thanks,
Andrey.
