I needed to be able to translate custom fields that I'd added to taxonomy terms. It seemed that Entity Translation was the module to use. Try as I could, I still had problems (so many different places to translate, localize, define menus, etc, that it's nigh on impossible to get things working in Drupal).
Anyway, my view now was showing no text for that field on my German site, where it used to work fine (and still works on the EN site), so I tried to "disable translation" for that field, except upon clicking to confirm removal of all translations, ET gave this error straight away:
An AJAX HTTP error occurred. HTTP Result Code: 500 Debugging information follows. Path: http://xxxxxx/batch?id=597&op=do StatusText: Internal Server Error ResponseText:
Looking at my PHP error logs shows this error:
Cannot access empty property in /var/www/vhosts/xxxxxxx/httpdocs/sites/all/modules/entity_translation/includes/translation.handler.inc on line 716, referer: http://xxxxxxx/batch?op=start&id=596
So I can't undo any changes I made with field translations as a result.
