Core Issues to track

None? Now that Drupal-8.0.x is in release candidate phase, we are not expecting any API changes.

Translation of third-party settings: NOT likely to affect this module, as we're not dealing with human-readable output, just invisible HTML classes.

Yes, I certainly intend to get this module ready for D8. I've updated the 'development status' sectin on the main project page to reflect where things currently stand.

Once D8 gets to beta stage, I hope to start marking the D8 releases of this module as beta too.

Released field_formatter_class-8.x-1.0-rc2, which is compatible with Drupal 8.0.0-rc2.

Now that Drupal-8.0.0 has a release candidate, we are not expecting any API changes, so the port can be considered done.

All that remains is to test against further Drupal Core releases, and aim to release field_formatter_class-8.x-1.0

I'll leave this issue open until then.
