I've noticed issues with fitvids causing JS errors at times, and it even prevented my file upload button from working with IMCE at one point. I see in fitvids.module, line 123 you have this as a TODO item. Consider this a feature request from an end user :)

Perhaps CSS injector might be a good example to lift the logic from?

I came across a case where I needed this as well, so I rolled a patch with the functionality.

This patch adds two options to the settings form at /admin/config/media/fitvids:

  • A textarea where the user can list paths using the same style as the block config form
  • Radio buttons that determine whether the paths listed in the above textarea should either prevent fitvids from loading, or only allow fitvids to load on the listed paths

The last submitted patch, 2: fitvids-allow_block_style-1935518-2.patch.patch, failed testing.
