I am looking for a solution in which the client of a webshop can upload a file (pdf, eps, ...) when adding a product to the cart. Commerce Customizable Products should work I presume, but can someone confirm it works well with a file upload as well? I cannot find any documentation about this on the internet.

I can confirm that it does seem to work in my proof of concept. I'm working on a similar implementation and I'm using Customizable Products with Taxonomy to build product prices dynamically via Rules, with a file upload in the Line Item type.
