If trying to enable commerce on a site with Debut Section, you're likely to hit #1871832: Conflict with Entity Views Attach (EVA).

Solution: before installing Commerce, apply the patch in comment #1 and disable the EVA module.

If you've already installed Commerce and hit the bug described in #1871832:

  • Apply the patch in comment #1 and disable the EVA module.
  • Use Commerce Repair to repair your broken Commerce install.
