I need to remove the default 'N/A' field from the radio buttons. I googled for a solution but couldn't find much except for the PHP code below which I need help with. I know I can make go away by making it required but that's not what I want. I also know what I can remove it by opening optionwidgets.module and go to "function optionwidgets_options" (line 400). But that only works for new fields. It does not affect radio buttons already created.
Code from documentation. Can anyone help me figure this out how to use this code? Where do I add this?
unset($vars['form']['group_if_in_fieldset']['field_the_radios']['value']['']); //remove the pesky CCK N/A radio
Here is one of my fields with 'N/A' on it obtained with firefox debugging tools. How can I apply the PHP code above to my field below?
<div id="edit-field-info-core-value--wrapper" class="form-item"> <label class="option" for="edit-field-info-core-value-"> <input id="edit-field-info-core-value-" class="form-radio" type="radio" checked="checked" value="" name="field_info_core[value]"></input> N/A </label></div>
