I am trying to teach myself Drupal. I am using a Lynda.com video course.

I built a simple little site on my Win 7 PC using Acquia Drupal Stack.

Then I tried to upload it to a web host.

The bottom line is, after a lot of tries & a lot of issues, it is more or less running there with one major & one minor issue.

The major issue is the Theme. The Theme did not (completely) get moved with the site. I used that standard Bartik theme, changing the logo & colors. None of this shows on the web server site.

There does not seem to be a way to attach an image to this Forum. You can view the server hosted site at rkassoc.org/2trees. If I go to Appearances & look at the settings on Bartik, they look fine. Even the color settings for the header background are correct (as I changed them on my local machine). If I change to another basic Theme, it works correctly.

How can I fix this?

Thank you.

ensure the sites/default/files folder and all its contents was uploaded. clear database cache and test.

On the local site (on the PC), there is no sites/default/files folder. There is a sites/default that has ONE file in it; default.settings.php.

I'm guessing this is because I used Acquia Drupal Stack?

Thanks

you must have a files folder somewhere. It defaults to sites/all/files in a standard core set up. Check administer -> file system , what is the path?
