Offering to maintain Highslide

As q0rban is seeking a new maintainer, I figured I'd throw my hat into the ring as I have a project needing a D7 version of this and feel it's a project I could maintain.

I've contacted q0rban, who told me to create this issue. He said he is no longer supporting this project, which reiterates the "seeking new maintainer" tag on the project page.

While I haven't contributed code to this project yet, I plan to review the existing attempts at a D7 port, update them where necessary to be in line with Drupal best practices (Neither uses Libraries, for instance) and clean up the code to correspond with Drupal.org's coding standards. The first stable version shall be released once the D7 version is at feature parity with the D6 version.

Considering that Colorbox is currently the most-used of Drupal's lightbox projects (IMO, anyway), I would then focus on the aspects that make Highslide unique -- for instance, its lightboxed filmstrips (Vertical, even!).

I'll leave this issue in Highslide's queue for up to two weeks before transferring it to the Drupal.org Webmasters queue -- I'm not sure what the timeline's supposed to be given that I've already gotten a response from the maintainer, but at least this way it gives me some time to work on building the D7 version while engaging with the project's existing user base.

At this time, if you have any suggestions or thoughts for the D7 version, or would otherwise like to get involved, please comment on this issue.
