How can a specific display be selected?

When setting a view field, the "View do include" setting offers only to select a Views, not a specific display.
It pretends to be smart by telling "Select the view to include. The display will be automatically determine."
Unless I miss something, this is impossible.
For example, I want data returned from a specific display among 6,
- one display has 2 arguments
- one display has 3 arguments
- four displays have the same unique argument
- some arguments are optional

How the hell this module will guess which display is required?
