Currently I get the following email on backup:

The site backup has completed successfully with the following messages:
Default Database backed up successfully to xxx-2013-01-23_EST12-41-57 in destination Below Drupal Home in 55848.18 ms.

It would be great if it displayed the size of the file on a successful backup so we can get an idea how big or small in relation to previous backups if things changed or not.

It appears that ronan fixed this issue already, but regardless, the D8 version going forward will contain many changes and upgrades.
