I came across something new this weekend, RebelMouse. It pulls in posts from social media and RSS feeds, and displays them in an almost Pinterest kind of way. You can also add stories directly, or use their bookmarklet to link stories you browse.

For someone like me with a background in news publishing, it seems like a good way to join together web content and social media, something we have been struggling with for years.

RebelMouse has a Wordpress plugin that people like Gary Vaynerchuk are using.

Has any other Drupalers taken a look at this? Any interest in making a module?

Thanks.

Hi Kirk,

If you find a way to do this, please let me know.

Thanks,

I've been looking into various options for creating a 'Pinterest-style' collection of social media posts and aggregating them on a Drupal site. At first I was exploring Socialst until I realized that the jQuery project is unsupported because it doesn't work anymore.

Here's what I know about RebelMouse:
- It's free for personal use, but your "wall" of posts will contain ads for RebelMouse unless you pay
- Primetime costs $500 per month*
- Enterprise, costs up to $5,000 per month*

*None of their pricing is public, so it could be even more than that. I got those numbers from this blog post:

Based on the above I have decided not to make a RebelMouse module for Drupal.

There is already a Drupal module to integrate Storify a similar product to RebelMouse, but the Drupal module does not create a social wall.

I will post back here if I can find something more suitable.

Alright, I've found a service I like. It's called Juicer.

This has roughly the same model as RebelMouse. A Free plan gets you up to two services (or hashtags!) with Juicer branding, but it's *much* more affordable for paid plans. See pricing.

I've started a module, will post it here: https://www.drupal.org/project/juicerio
