Limit taxonomy term exposed filter to children of current term

Hello!

I've been searching for a solution for this, and what i found didn't seem to be quite what i was looking for, and seemed to involve a custom module or template, and I wondered if there was a simpler solution.

I'm using views for taxonomy term pages and when I'm viewing a term page, and that term happens to have children, I would like an exposed filter that lists only those children.

Is this possible? Thanks!
